Meet Our Team

Sunshine Plaza ~ Maroochydore

Beth

Beth is our Industry United Plaza Manager, she has over 13 years of hairdressing experience and is our Kerastase Ambassador. She loves a good balayage and the confidence her clients get after seeing their beautiful fresh hair. Our go to girl for short hair, pixie and textured cuts. In her spare time, she is at the beach with her kids or organising her pantry (OCD storage Queen!!).

Hannah

Hannah loves all things blondes, balayage and freehand lightening. She is super creative and loves coming up with fun new ideas for her client’s hair. She is an Asian food cuisine and fine dining connoisseur. An adventurer at heart; and she loves exploring the hidden places that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

Ranju

Ranju has almost 20 years’ experience in hairdressing; she is the queen of all things extensions and threading. Amazing with blondes and balayage. In her spare time she can be found with family and friends; enjoys going on long drives and listening to music.

Tay

Kiarna

Kiarna has 7 year's hairdressing experience and our newest recruit. She loves playing with different blonde tones and making sure all her clients are leave in love with their new look. Outside of work you will find her behind the camera lens, capturing photos as an amateur photographer.

Zack

Zack is our amazingly talented barber! Killer fades!! He has been with us for 3 years and loves to make people laugh. In his spare time he likes to play golf and video games.

Kawana Shoppingworld ~ Buddina

Jess

Jess is our Industry United Kawana Manager, she has worked on the Sunny Coast for 8 years and is our resident Kerastase Ambassador. She is a killer colourist. Loves big colour changes. Winner of L'oreal's National Colour Trend in 2020. She is also dedicated mum of one who loves bright tattoos and pushing herself at the gym.

Tom

Tom has been Barbering for 5 years now and has been with us since his apprenticeship. He specialises in all aspects of hair and beard styling. He loves classic men’s scissors cuts and is awesome at creating more modern styles involving fades and textured crops. In his free time he enjoys supporting local businesses; specifically pubs.

Danielle

Danielle is our go to girl for all thing’s curly hair. She started hairdressing in 2007 and has a passion for blondes and big bouncy blow drys. In her spare time she loves spending time with her two fur babies and partner

Brigid Rose

Brigid Rose is a passionate barber with over 12 years’ experience in the industry. She is a whizz at pompadours and flat tops. Loves classic men’s styles and nerding out on learning new barbering techniques. In her own words, she could be a forever student. To relax she can be found in her succulent garden or walking bush tracks.

Jayde

Jayde has been in our IU family the longest. She is always up for a laugh and loves a good chat with her clients. From blondes to brunettes, she loves any type of colour that comes her way. In her spare time you will find her with her two boys out on the dirt bikes covered in mud.

Jez

Jez is our amazing 2IC and senior Stylist with over 15 years’ experience. She is our go to for pixie, short crop cuts and the perfect concave bob. She will make it her mission to renew damaged hair to amazing health and shine. A little cat and plant crazy; but loves going out for a hike and mountain bike riding.

Kim

Kim is our 2nd year apprentice. Always has a smile and is ready to face challenges and to try new things. She is a weapon with a blow dry and wait until you see her braids!! In her spare time, Kim and her fur baby live at beach.

Jade is a proud Sunny Coast local and has spent over 15 years managing businesses in various industries. While you wont ever see Jade with scissors in her hands, she works behind the scenes supporting the amazing teams at Kawana and Sunshine Plaza to deliver you the best service on the coast.

Our barbers and hairdressers are highly trained to assess hair type, scalp concerns, internal and external stressors that can affect the health of the hair, and the chemical knowledge to undertake even the most complex of colours.
